Used to love this app – AlarmMon ( alarm clock ) Review

I used to totally love this app. It was the only alarm I used ever and it was effective in forcing me out of bed. However, now when I try to use it the alarm will not go off if my phone is locked. It will show in the notification screen but it will not sound. I know this for a fact because I was awake and watched it pop up but not sound due to my phone being locked. As soon as I unlocked it, the alarm sounded. I really want this app to work. I tried in app settings and phone settings. I’m discouraged but I haven’t given up on the app yet. It WAS that good. I’d be happy to replace this rating with a 5 star one if the app ever functions correctly again.
