Fun ... on a new server, and then only to a point – Ocean Overlord Review

This is a fun game to play when you join a new server and everyone is competing on the same level. Unfortunately, this ends. On the old servers, people stop playing because the top players have spent major bucks to be on top, and there is no matching system where you only play people of your level. This means the big guys crush you daily until you quit. Then, when enough people leave they combine that server nobody wants to play on with others. Then those people leave, and so on and so on. Eventually, your server will be combined with them and you will have to compete with players you will NEVER BEAT EVER. You won’t even dent them, which is too bad because the game is fun up to that point. My recommendation: play this game when a new server opens up, and quit when they merge it. Don’t spend too much because it will all be for naught. Plan for maybe 4-6 months of fun.
