Focused too much on the business, not the customer – Exeq: The Money App Review

Please focus just on the managing money part. Venmo is socially addicting because people write funny captions/emojis for payments to each other. Socializing emoji reactions is a lot less entertaining and honestly, tacky. I’d rather just see stars on Yelp, way more informative. It’s just clutter. But reacting privately is cool. Also Exeq average is useless... doesn’t work for most merchants. I like the friendliness of the app. But the product’s direction doesn’t make me feel like Exeq has my financial success in their best interest. They seem more focused on making money from selling data to merchants & recommending merchants to you (scares me a little)... and trying too hard to make it go viral. At least nail down the personal finance part first? Lastly, not sure how the app looks and performs like this after all the money raised? It feels cheap and not native at all. Won’t be using this until things improve, but I’m curious to see where this goes. — Update: Stuck in an error loop whenever I open the app. Completely useless now. This isn’t the first time this has happened too! I had high hopes but these critical bugs have not been doing you or anyone favors. Moving on!
