Tired getting “All read” screen at the open. – Feedly - Smart News Reader Review

Giving up on Feedly... I am so tired of several irritating UI details and lack of options to make it behave as I’d like. So I am now searching for a better app... Whenever I open the app, and I mean ALWAYS, I am greeted with the “All read” screen with no easy options to move on, other than opening the menu at top left (hard to reach + requires multiple actions). This is systematic... I open Feedly and I know I will not see new content right away but I will be forced to fiddle with the menu, even when I did not open the app for a long time and there is obviously new content available. And I get this even though I clearly have not previously read everything, I had mostly scrolled through headlines or summaries. At that point, Swipe up is useless as I then get the “All done” full screen which to me means exactly the same thing, so I am needlessly doing an action to be told again that I have supposedly read everything. At least I would expect to be able to swipe down to get back to today’s articles or something, not be forced to precisely hit the menu button which I find hard to do. I just don’t understand the logic behind getting this screen and I can’t stand seeing it any more! Another thing that irritates me is the forced pagination instead of continuous scrolling, no user option for this. I constantly have to swipe back down to go back to previous screen when all I wanted when I swiped up was to bring what was at the bottom of the screen nearer the center where I prefer to read. Give us the option of continuous scrolling, I generally hate modal behaviors like pagination! And at the end of the list, I even want some blank space so I could bring the last line up the screen if I wanted to because this is where I prefer to read. If only scrolling could be continuous + end with a simple (and non-modal) line saying “all read” or “End of list” that would solve my two main gripes.
