They’ve ruined a good thing – Words With Friends 2 Word Game Review

Played WWF for years, but with the latest Apple update, I had to upgrade to this. I wish I wouldn’t have had to; and heads up!... the games you were playing in the old format are NOT carried over to the new app. Gone are the days of blissfully playing; no there’s badges and coins...I don’t need no stinkin’ badges! I have no idea what they’re used for, and frankly, I don’t want to, I just want to play the game. After each and every game played is a 15-20 second ad, there’s ads running constantly across the top and bottom of the screen as well, plus ads running along the whole right side. The whole format has been updated to give it that tween friendly look...lots of bright colors, cutesy characters, etc. but it’s annoying. It used to be a straightforward site, but I guess they had to find a way to bring in revenue.
