Old version: awesome. New version: terrible – Paper by WeTransfer Review

I loved paper, used it extensively, and happily paid to be a patron. Then this “upgrade” happened. App crashes every five minutes. Basic features, like arrowheads, are gone. The butterfly view brings the worst features of physical notebooks (they don’t lie flat) to the iPad. The really nice low key grid when you zoom is gone. I can’t use my finger to move shapes around while using pencil to draw anymore. I really hope someone sees this mess and recreates the old paper. If 53 were to offer the old app, I’ll gladly pay a few dollars for it. But this “upgrade” is an unusable mess.
