Horrible user experience – Amtrak Review

When you search for a booking, if unavailable you are presented with a not-user friendly error message “No Amtrak service matches your request. Please try different stations. [108A]” What it should do is tell you what is unavailable (e.g. no connection available, train or specific legs are booked, etc.) and offer alternative dates. Not all travel booking attempts are same day Acela trips.
