This is my kind of game! – Afforestation Review

I’m a big fan of Fog of World as well, and like the dev said it gives me something more to add to the places I travel. When playing both games at the same time, it’s double the fun! I think this game is incredibly creative and would like to see it reach its full glory once it’s finished... All the main functions seem to work pretty consistently while the UI is attractive too, but I’m very sorry to have to comment that the game still needs a lot of UX work in all areas yet. It’s hard to understand the functions, what your supposed to do and how you get there... let’s say it needs a better English manual of the object of the game or how you level up to bigger items which need other items I have never seen yet in the game to get... and much better English descriptions of the items, what they are, how to get them, and what they do. The mechanics need to be better connected to their touch actions (for instance tapping a tree with a hatchet only half the time triggers the harvest of the tree, the other times it displays an annoying “plant near you” pop up). Many times, the circled number gets stuck in the GUI when it shouldn’t be there anymore (many little glitches). Sync needs MAJOR work I have been signing out then back in just to get the data to update. Finally, the English translation needs a lot of updates throughout the app as well. Not a polished, mature app yet with many buggy areas, but I really love it so much so that I’m gonna keep playing it for a long time so please☺︎, dev, keep this project growing with new updates {?????} Note: I am willing to contribute to the English translations, if you need my help please let me know!
