Scene and track saving – KORG Gadget 2 Review

Hi like gadget a lot , but I don't like entering note and velocity information every time I want to fill a track with data. I think when you select function to set quantization you should have a load and save data there, to select or save patterns for the device loaded at the time. Loading and saving scenes would be good too. Track patterns most important. I load up four Gladstones and use 1 for kick drum ,2 for snare 3 for hi hat 4 for toms you can keep going 5 more toms just tune toms different in each Gladstone 6 cymbals 7 electric drum hits . I do this because if you use one Gladstone all the the sounds go through same eq and compression. Multiple Gladstone's Each can have separate settings.of tuning ,decay , eq compression. Much better. Then do same with bass , so on , to build scene. By the way gadget sequencer is really easy and fun to use . You could use this as a template project. Or if you could save scenes , as a scene template, and if you could append one scene to another scene .You would be able to start with your drum scene append with another scene that has your bass And keyboard sounds for one project .and append with different scene with different instruments for different project. If you could save and load track data you could have your most used drum patterns and bass lines ,so on ,for the kind of music you do, where you just load in all ready stored patterns allowing you to work faster. The software is great as is but if korg could use the whole iPad system of audio units so on, it could be even better. A few more cymbal sounds would help Gladstone be better. Thanks Mark
