Excellent Alternative to cable. Newest Update has flaw – Sling: Live TV, Sports & News Review

Personally, I have not had that many issues with Sling. Ive had Sling for 3 months now and I don't miss DirecTv at all. Some people really portray Sling to be con artists and scammers and I think that is really an over exaggeration and an extreme scenario. Nevertheless, the whole idea of internet tv and digital streaming is still a relatively new concept and has much need for improvement all around. In all technological advancement there is always room for error. Look at smart phones for example and updating to the newest versions. There always seems to be a problem. And when it comes to streaming you can't honestly say that your Netflix has been a 100% positive experience all the time and hasnt given you an error message somehow unabling you to watch something at a certain moment in time. Admittingly so, the service can sometimes be "buggy". For example, I run the service on both Firestick, Roku and my mobile IOS app. I most frequently watch on Firestick 90% of the time and occasionally a show may get stuck, be buffering or did not record correctly. In that case I usually just reset my firestick and restart the app. Same thing can happen to satellite users too. However, my first problem and it really isn't a huge problem is of that in the newest firestick update. If you are watching a program and you return to the app at a later time the "continue watching" option is unavailable. I have not updated the app on my Roku because "the continue watching" option is still available. With that being said, my second issue is with the Roku and the Firestick not coinciding when it comes to the "continue watching" option. What I mean by that is that if I am watching a show in my living room, I can't turn it off and go into another room that has a Sling enabled device and pick up where I left off. Somewhat lame but at the same time kind of a first world problem. In a nutshell, I'm still happy I cut the cord and went with Sling. There are many pros and cons with that being price which outweighs certain conveniences. I'd still rather save 70 bucks a month and choose what I want and deal with a few small issues from time to time.
