A few issues – Hot Wheels: Race Off Review

Complete lack of on boarding. No launch video. No story. No intro. Lots of games do this but they come off cheap. I dislike swapping primary CTA with a button to to purchase in game content. You don’t need to do that. You can still prompt players to spend money instead of tricking them by switching the location of buttons. Big issue on the economy. I got to a level that told me I couldn’t use the starter car to beat it. That’s fine. But when I finally get enough of the coin currency, I can’t use one cars currency for another? Why? I don’t see a reason for this. This was made doubly worse because I had just unlocked 1000 credits from the stunt unlock loot box thing. So now I have 950 credits on the starter car I can never use.
