Slowing down internet speed. – Avira Mobile Security Review

Activated as content blocker and this slowed down my internet speed to 60%. I knew content blockers slow down internet but this one is terrible. Almost like crawling. Still I see hell lot of ads. So ads are there then what is use of this speed draining app?
