Lose the limitations and it’s great – Jam WiFi Review

These speakers could be great, but they’re not. It’s nothing hardware related, as they sound fine and I don’t have any issue connecting to WiFi. The issue comes from the app itself. Why you can’t connect the speakers to any other application or smart home device. It has Amazon Alexa push to talk, but can’t connect to Alexa devices via WiFi. It can’t connect to Google Home either. If it could do either of those, you could have complete home automation without having to use your phone to select any songs. But these are all things that could be. In summary, these speakers could be a lot better with a simple firmware update; until that time, don’t waste your money on one.
