Can’t create new contact in new groups – Address Book Plus Review

I had about 30 email names under a single contact in my iPhone contacts. I wanted to create a group with the contacts. No easy way to do this. I have to write down the name and email of each individual and re-enter into a group in this app. Only now I have another problem.... it won’t let me add a new contact to the new group I just created. Grrrrrrr!!! It just takes me to a blank page and leaves me there. I have to uninstall the app to get off the page. There has to be an easier way - unfortunately this app is not up to it.
