TOTALLY unreliable product that used to be great – Parrot Teleprompter Review

I bought this along with the teleprompter and remote control. I set up Dropbox integration and everything was great. I could edit scripts on my laptop and then load them into the app when it was time to shoot. Then Dropbox changed their API. Since that time the app works maybe one time out of 10. Usually it flashes the list of scripts in my Dropbox account for a second, then it shows about half of them, then a second later it show me an empty list. Sometimes I can open a script before it disappears. But if I have to scroll down to find it, the app locks up before I get there. Sometimes I can create a new script, paste the text from Dropbox into the app, and get something done. But it usually takes 10-15 minutes before I can get things to work, if I can get it to work at all. If you’re thinking about getting this, my advice is to go back in time to August 2017 and buy it when it was a five-star product. If you don’t have a time machine handy, look elsewhere.
