Don’t change your phone# – Norton Password Manager Review

When it came time to update my norton antivirus, only expensive options available thru my norton acct. But I received a generic email for$19.99 and wanted that. Was busy and didn’t have time to mess with it. A month later, changed my phone #. Fast forward...did an update on my new iphone 8 today and ID safe wanted my password. (I have been using the ID safe with fingerprint on my new phone just fine. Got in with my pin the first time, then fingerprint) I put in my password and it wanted to verify thru a code to be sent to my old phone#. Chatted with tech support who said they cannot update phone # for security. That’s nuts as you can’t update your phone number unless you have a new phone number to update it with which means they can’t change number without sending code to the old. You following this logic. All user names and passwords lost. They suggested I create a new username and password with a different email and start over after I update my product?. So this can happen again if I change my phone #? Shopping elsewhere.
