Be prepared to be frustrated – After the End: Forsaken Destiny Review

The game is lovely. I’m not giving the actual game play a 2. It is the total lack of any instructions. I can figure out how to play the game but there are buttons, no words, no indication of what they do. A triangle, a circle, a square. I guess you’re supposed to use telepathy to know what these do. One takes you to a settings screen where you supposedly are able to save game progress. Don’t believe it. It doesn’t work. It will always take you back to the start every time. This isn’t a game you can finish in one sitting so I’m not sure how anyone finishes it. After starting over 6 Times. Saving to the cloud, restoring from the cloud and still having to start over, I give up. And if you think you can do it in one sitting, don’t click those shapes. One quits you out of your game, no warning, no chance to save, nothing. Just welcome back to the beginning. This is a total waste of money. And too bad too. The game itself has promise.
