Nice presentation, unreliable data refresh – Weather Line • Review

This app has the best (for me) representation of weather data amongst the 5+ that I’ve tried. However, I keep getting burned by out-of-date information being displayed by the app as current. For example, it’s currently 59 degrees where I am (based on other data sources and feel) but the app (widget and in-app) report a temperature of 49 degrees. Neither force restarting the app nor deleting and recreating my location within the app help. I started keeping the widgets for both this app and the default weather app next to each other as a warning for when things get out of sync. This has made me realize that the issue is more pervasive than I’d originally realized. I’m still rating highly because I think this is an iOS issue rather than something app specific. You really need to cross check two weather apps to see if you are getting up to date information.
