malpractices – Runtastic Push-Ups PRO Trainer Review

This is the first time I have written a review for any app ever. I used to like this app untill last week when, after updating, the app no longer allowed me to use it without taking an account with runtastic. This is a paid app and an update changed the fact that I need to use this when online and that my usage is being recorded by runtastic. Why (and this is also on Apple) is this company allowed to change the app such that it is no longer useable without signing up with a sirvice and do not want and did not pay for (when I pusrchesed the app)? I contacted the company directly and this was their response: We require registration because: it's standard practice & incredibly simple; the info you share, helps us best serve you; it enables us to safeguard your activity stats. Don't be a victim of the tragic phone in the toilet scenario ;) All clear? Standard practice does not make GOOD practice runtastsic. I ask you to fix this issue. I like the app, but this really prevent me from using this ever again.
