Crashed while trying to enable tracking on first use – Vision Pilot 3 for DJI Mavic / Phantom / Inspire Review

I was trying to use the tracking mode, which was the main reason I bought this. The app crashed on my iPhone 7+ while trying to get it to work. Fortunately I was able to land the aircraft, and back to the DJI app I go, $10 poorer. The website behind the support link seems to be entirely devoted to selling drone accessories. I cannot see any support or documentation for the app anywhere.
