WATCH OUT with declined card payments – FlixBus & FlixTrain Review

This is how FlixBus works: I added a trip to their shopping cart and they decline my credit card payment saved on file three times. I check with my bank they didn't even try charging it. All information is correct and triple checked, and the bank is ready for transaction. I tried again, nothing. Declined. So I try another card in another bank and the exact same scenario happens: nothing wrong with info, bank doesn't see any attempts to charge the card. So I went back to search and found the cause of the problem --while trying to pay, tickets had magically gone up €10 a piece. I give them the benefit of the doubt and think demand is high or tickets are getting scarce for this trip. Still, trying to cover all possible problems I tried from a different phone. Guess what. The tickets had NOT gone up when I searched there, they were still at the same price I saw initially. I figure out just how rotten they are but have no other companies serving the area I'm trying to visit, so I proceed to pay with the same credit card that was declined three times. It worked no problem. Duh. My advise is to not let them fool you when they decline your payments, they are just forcing you to pay more when it is not necessary. And even better advise is to not get robbed, use RegioJet instead. It is an infinity better, and so far they haven't tried to pull this nonsense on me or my friends.
