Extremely well thought out game - no waiting to get matched up in lobby - multiple game modes... From fast paced 1v1 to longer strategic game modes - clans for even bigger picture grand strategy and diplomacy - no pay to play Beginners advice: 1. read the help section, as it gives a very concise explanation of each aspect of the game. 2. Friend anyone you happen to be in a lobby with and ask for advice. Most people are very friendly and willing to help, if they know you want it. 3. Join a clan. This will put you in a more selective group who will look out for you and help with the learning curve. You also need to be in a clan to participate in the larger scale strategy aspect - Galaxy Map There are no requirements to be in a clan, other than that clans personal conduct policy(which varies greatly).
