Connection error fix solution(XboxOne) – Just Sing™ Companion App Review

I had the same issue as all the other reviewers. After constant network troubleshooting to no avail, I looked through all Xbox settings one by one. Turns out going to 'settings' then 'Preferences' then 'Xbox app connections' and change it to "Allow Connection from any device" (instead of the default "allow only from devices signed into my account") resolved it for me.
