Did not function as intended on 8/21/2017 – Solar Eclipse Timer Review

Installed App on my iPad a couple of months ago. Practiced a few times with it, with no issues. Made updates as they were released. During the eclipse, the App Timer displayed events for my location, but with no audio. Checked volume, it was turned up to max. Notifications were enabled. With no audio, the App was of little value, as I was busy taking photos through two cameras. Discovered afterward that iPad was set to Do Not Disturb during the afternoon period, so there was no audio. Suggest you add this to your advice for setup and configuration of the device before an eclipse event. The malfunction was completely my fault, but I would hate for some future user to get tripped up by this same setting.
