2017 alerts for 2018

It doesn't keep score

Love the app it worked great in 2017, but now I’m getting those alerts again in 2018 for 2017 and I cannot turn off the timer. Also I cannot find anywhere to report this issue on the developer page. If this issue didn’t exist I would give it five ⭐️s.

I used this app during the 2017 TSE. Excellent app, really helped me photographing the TSE. Easy to setup for the location, easy to hear the audio prompts, and knowing exactly when to remove and put on protective eyewear made the whole experience awesome. Highly Recommended.

One thing I cannot stand is when developers move from a ‘paid’ app model to a ‘free with in-app purchases’ model and in doing so screw all of their existing users by not grandfathering them in. That’s exactly what this developer has done. People who supported you are now forced to throw out more money for something they already purchased. Potential purchasers: Stay away from this nonsense.

Great app! I speak Spanish but I prefer apps in his native language. In this case english. So please make a language select in the app ?? you do that and I change to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This a great resource for solar eclipse chasers! I used the app in 2017 to confirm a great location for the eclipse, and then followed all the prompts starting at C1 all through getting great looks at the shadow bands. Using the “Solar Eclipse Timer”again in 2019 was once again very user friendly. I look forward to using the app again at any opportunity.

Thank you Destin and Dr Telepun for inspiring me to experience the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse. It was so spiritually moving that I intend to also see the 2024 eclipse. I was able to see 2:32 of totality. This app helped me look for the partial phase phenomena and I got to see shadow bands!

App was an excellent Companion for the solar eclipse, as it sends you notifications/alerts for phase changes and things to observe. Looking forward to using this again in 2024!

Great idea, but no sound and late notifications

Looks like a few of us encountered the no sound bug (even though mute off, vol up). The test movie played ok, but not the real thing. Fortunately, another in my group had the app and it was working as expected. Perhaps a refund for those who experienced the bug?
