FUN! Needs NON-Facebook Connect, though. – Authors On Acid Review

I just downloaded the game, and played a game with myself (nobody here with me at the moment). Certainly, it is the kind of game that you can play with pen and paper if you are all together anyway. On another hand, Not having to mess with pen and paper and not having to read people's handwriting, will certainly be advantages to some people, in this phone version :) . I like the interface pretty well. (One problem is that the "characters remaining" count is displayed overlaying the sentence-in-progress as a player types it. This makes it very, very difficult to actually read the "characters remaining" count. So that display should be moved above or below the displayed sentence-in-progress so that both can be read.) Alas, the game's one other clear advantage over pen & paper play in the same room is only available to Facebook users. It seems that the ONLY way to connect with others at present is through Facebook. ... Of course, being able to connect through Facebook is not a bad thing at all. It is just not nearly as good as if there were an independent way to connect with people without involving Facebook. To connect with people who do not use Facebook. I would very much like to see the ability to connect with people via links sent by text or email or through the game itself if we could login in any way without using Facebook. "Evil Apples" is one game app that implements this very well, independently of Game Center, Facebook, or any other 3rd-party service that the player needs to be aware of. It *allows* connecting with Facebook friends, but that's not the only way to involve others remotely. I plan to write directly to the game developers to suggest it, see if they have any plans to come to amend it, or might even consider doing so :-) . (If so, then I would update this rating to four or maybe five. If you use Facebook, and only want to play with other people who use Facebook, then you may consider this review as having a four or five star rating for your purposes.) In summary, a good app for folks who will enjoy this kind of game. It's a fun game I have played long before the advent of cell phones, and this app implements it well. Enjoy!
