"Read" Between The "Words": Dead "Awesome" Reckoning! – Dead Reckoning: Death Between the Lines - Hidden Review

Well, BF changed their plans and released this game instead of Grim Tales--that's fine by me. The reason why is because one of my favorite series is back with another intriguing and suspenseful murder mystery. The story lines in some of these series have started to blur into each other after so many installments; however, this one is grabbing my attention with the unique idea of participating in a competition between writers that turns deadly, as you realize that you need to fight to stay alive. I laud the ingenious idea of incorporating this developer's other series into the storyline; however, I won't spoil your sake of surprise on how it transpires. I love the use of the tablet, which replaces the overused Evidence Board and functions as an authentic technologically oriented device. In a refreshing deductive format, layers of information about the suspects intensely evolve to arouse suspicion as the story progresses; they play an intricate role in the solution of the crimes. The characters' personalities are highlighted through their speech and behavioral patterns; for example, Jessica exhibits an affluent but superficial appearance, as demonstrated through her well-off clothes, her smoking habit, and her snobbish voice. The graphics are poorly rendered, with blotchy visuals that lack the crispness and clarity of details. You can customize your settings. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. In custom mode, the teleport map facilitates brisk travel to labeled locations and indicates available actions. Transition between scenes is smooth and quick; no glitches. You discover two collection sets, which can blend well into the background. The artistry and presentation of the multi-layered HOSs suit the storyline; some introduce novel twists when conveying the backstory. The varied puzzles are highly imaginative, and they are successfully integrated into the actions in progress. One type is move a helicopter along a path to its destination while avoiding obstacles. In summation, you will be kept on your toes with a multitude of tasks to effectuate within each scene. I am wholly impressed with the high level of interactivity, innovation, and diversity that this game offers. Furthermore, the storyline is maintaining my focus, rather than putting me to sleep. I can't complain about a single thing. Therefore, I am pleased to suggest that you play the free trial because I think that a lot of you might like this game. My rating is 5 stars, and I hope this positive trend continues.
