Almost unusable – FontBook™ Typeface Compendium Review

This app has fallen quite drastically since I first downloaded it five years ago. Today, it is virtually unusable. No clear way to favorite fonts, UI/navigation often breaks or becomes non-functional, many times it has trouble connecting to a network (despite iPad being connected), many fonts don't load, and it seems like there is little to no active support still happening. All support links lead to dead or not-found web pages. Perhaps it is valuable strictly as a visual reference guide, akin to a printed type specimen book, but as an app it has become a pale shell of what it used to be.
