An odd situation and new update – OnAir for Periscope Review

Love this app...usually great but lately been having the strangest experience with it...I live in the USA and realize we will get feeds from around the world, but for the past number of weeks have been getting almost all Russian feeds! Not 100% but maybe 80% of the total...so wondering how these feeds are decided...does this app think I speak Russian? I like getting some of them, but this is way too much and lack of variety from other countries hurts the fun of this app....is there a setting to change or is something amiss with their algorithm? Not sure, but reduced the stars because of it...update: noticed also on iPad...image doesn't rotate automatically...so makes it annoyingly hard to watch...new Periscope app has fixed this issue for iPads...can't these guys do this too?
