NOT recommended ! – Smart Recorder and transcriber Review

i paid $10 to be able to "buy" my recordings back from this stupid app so I don't have to use it anymore. that's what you have to do to be able to "export" your files. then, it wipes out the entire name of your recording and makes you retype the whole thing unless you want all of your recording's named "recording". For the programmer, why don't you simply make the default name for the recording that's being exported the same as the one that was recorded? What a timesaver that would be! instead it brings up a screen and asks you for the new name you want to put in for it but in the process, it covers The original recording name which necessitates having to write it down on a piece of paper then copy from the paper back onto your phone to get the same name! Otherwise the default is "recording "-- for every export and it tries to overwrite your previous export which was an entirely different file. It is a mess, so easy to improve simple things but I have been using this for over year and don't see anything happening to make it easier to use. sorry, but I do not recommend this app. It's extremely difficult to work with simple things like uploading a file to dropbox are a chore because everything has to be renamed. It's very unstable--screen goes black during an upload if your screensaver kicks in. you lose the entire upload process and have to start over, I also feel nickel and dimed to death to get simple functions to work. and, why can't I at least even see the entire title I have renamed the recording? No where can I find a place to do that---call me stupid but I can't find it.I'm getting this app off my phone ASAP if I can just get the recordings uploaded to dropbox! update... just removed all my recordings except a small one, which won't play back and ios reports "smart record" app is taking up over 17.29 GB of data! I have had it on the phone a year or so and it appears to have a huge memory consumption problem. good news, I am now getting my phone back by deleting this app. just a word to the wise...
