It's a start......... – Slapshot Frenzy™ Ice Hockey Review

I was very pleased to FINALLY see a hockey-related gaming app in the store (the 45 or so "air hockey" apps that are out now just don't satisfy me)......some offense/some defense......two-on-two.....you and your teammate attempt to score on a goal occupied by a goalie, as two defenders try to stop you.....if the defenders get the puck, you have to try and get it back before they reach mid-rink (at that point, they just shoot it away - you only see half the rink - in which case you are then involved in a faceoff - initiated by a ref - have to win the faceoff and then try again and again and again to score a goal - 3 short periods to score as many goals as you can)......fairly responsive controls....."tap to shoot/pass" works well.....no "swiping" here (i.e. if you are an adult, you do not have to worry about feeling/looking like a jacka$$ playing this game in public, LOL!!) Sounds are cool.....graphics are cool......I would like to see SKYWORKS develop this into a full-fledged hockey game......then it shall earn 5 stars.....O.K. I need to vent, here......what in God's name is Sammy Hagar doing?! Chickenfoot?! I would rather listen to the FreeCreditReport.Com band.....sorry....I will save further ranting for a music review......Go ahead and purchase SlapShot Frenzy.....
