I was very pleased to FINALLY see a hockey-related gaming app in the store (the 45 or so "air hockey" apps that are out now just don't satisfy me)......some offense/some defense......two-on-two.....you and your teammate attempt to score on a goal occupied by a goalie, as two defenders try to stop you.....if the defenders get the puck, you have to try and get it back before they reach mid-rink (at that point, they just shoot it away - you only see half the rink - in which case you are then involved in a faceoff - initiated by a ref - have to win the faceoff and then try again and again and again to score a goal - 3 short periods to score as many goals as you can)......fairly responsive controls....."tap to shoot/pass" works well.....no "swiping" here (i.e. if you are an adult, you do not have to worry about feeling/looking like a jacka$$ playing this game in public, LOL!!) Sounds are cool.....graphics are cool......I would like to see SKYWORKS develop this into a full-fledged hockey game......then it shall earn 5 stars.....O.K. I need to vent, here......what in God's name is Sammy Hagar doing?! Chickenfoot?! I would rather listen to the FreeCreditReport.Com band.....sorry....I will save further ranting for a music review......Go ahead and purchase SlapShot Frenzy.....

Until EA Sports comes out with the iPhone version of NHL 10, this is my current favorite game. Well designed with realistic action and gameplay. High action filled with split second passing and goalie dekes makes this game a MUST for every hockey gaming fan! Still waiting for a true 5-on-5 game, but until then, this game satifies more than any other. A very nice alternative to air hockey....

The controls are fuzzy and the players are hard to control. They also miss the net alot. Great game still, just fix the controls and its to slow paced. Still one of my favs and worth the dollar. Best hockey game on the APP store!

I can't even play the game because all it does is crash! I have opened the app 5 times, and it has sent me back to the home screen 5 times. I haven't even gotten to the menu! Are you trying to scam people?

This game is soo addicting, I at least play it like 3 times a day!!!!(but I would like to have it so I hav a golie also so it would be a heck of a game) but it's the best hockey game on here, the zomboni is funny( I like the music) so I think this is an awesome game any hockey fan or player.it has good graphics kool' music and it's an addicting game. GREAT GAME(& WORTH A BUCK)!!!!!!!!!!! Thx
