Terrible new version – Fort Worth Star-Telegram News Review

Wow, the latest version of the app is terrible. Why they had to update it, I'll never know. Oh wait, I do know why. They've added ads at the top of each article, right in the middle so the break up the article, not at the bottom or the side but the middle. Today in the obits I saw a Gun Cleaner ad in the middle of a persons obituary, how sad and bad. I know they are struggling with their revenue stream, but don't they care about the paying customers reading experience? I guess they are no worse than the Dallas Morning News app. I read their reviews this morning, because I was thinking about changing. I wonder if either newspaper has thought about asking for reader (paying customers) input or testing? I guess that would be asking too much.
