Does exactly as advertised – VLC Streamer Pro Review

Update: Over two years later and still using the app without a hitch. Used daily. Utility, support, and updates make the already low price a worthwhile investment. Works perfectly for streaming anime mkv files with subtitles directly from my Mac to my iPad/iPhone or television (via Apple TV which is fully supported, not mirrored) thus avoiding the need for conversion or copying. Works well with mp4 as well. Subtitle support could be more robust but I've never had a problem with the defaults. Controls are intuitive and responsive. Worth the price if you have an alternative to your computer for viewing media.
