A beautiful game! – Adam Wolfe: Dark Detective Mystery Game Review

So some people are complaining the price is too high for this app, but I don't think less than $10 is bad at all for a very beautiful, high quality story game like this. (Check the App Store for a full version that's cheaper than unlocking it with the demo) This is definitely one of big fishes better looking and more complex games. There is a lot more variation in gameplay -- HOP, puzzles, fight scenes, car chases, etc. The score and voice acting adds a layer of depth that most HOP don't have, and I appreciated that a lot. Each chapter is not too long but I think the price was ok for several hours of fun gameplay with substance, instead of a longer game without much heart. I'd definitely play a sequel if Mad Head ever makes one.
