Radar map? – Hawaii News Now Weather Review

Had this app on my old ipad, but on a new ipad, the map of the island chain doesn't show on the radar. I get the precip and everything else works just fine. Tried adjusting all the settings etc, just no outline of the islands. Weird, so radar is useless for me.
