Simple and enjoyable. – Charge Attack: Tactical RPG Review

So I saw an ad for this game while scrolling through Facebook and was drawn in by its minimalist style and character designs. In a very basic idea I'd compare it to rock, paper, scissors where you have three options which will give you one up against an opponent, draw, or harm you. You must attack to lower their health, but attacking requires a turn to charge and guarding can negate that attack or if both opponents attack at once it will result in a null turn. Furthermore, trying to charge when an opponent attacks will stop your charge. So you will need to be careful and essentially try to guess your opponent's move. Defeating the characters will unlock them and give you more options. As you defeat them, you also have the chance to unlock skills (20%, 8%, 25% more or less) with odds changing in various ways. Right now I'm taking it in stride and seeing how much I can unlock/collect. It's not very complex or captivating, but enjoyable nonetheless. I have yet to successfully try multiplayer, but I don't know how big the player community is and that may be why. If there could be random AI after about 60 seconds of searching, that would make it feel better.
