Won't load – Followers Strategy - Settle Village, Build Alliance & Army, Expand & Dominate Review

I've tried playing this game for the last couple of months now, but on my iPad I just get a blank purple screen, and on my iPhone I just get the company logo on a purple screen. Nothing loads after that. It's a shame because the pictures on the app page look promising.
