Need more control ipad2 – 1Weather: Forecast and Radar Review

On my ipad2, there NO options under any of the settings on the iPad to turn the app off from being displayed as a widget. And what this means is the app is constantly updating to show current weather info. That is intrusive and needs to be addressed ASAP.
