Awesome concept but image quality suffers – Remote Camera App Review

I haven't experienced some of the problems I've seen posted here. The app has been stable and worked every time I've used it. I run the Remote Camera app on my iPhone 7 and start Stop Motion Pro on my iPad. My iPad sees my iPhone over wifi no problem. However, the image quality sent to my iPad is so low when compared to the original image my phone could take that its just not usable. I wish there were some way of setting image quality on the remote camera app... both devices are connected via 802.11 ac so I can't image it would take long to transmit the original quality photo. I tried to contact them via their website and the site provided within the App Store but there is no way to actually email a person. All links are to FAQ.
