Not working with melodics – Melodics Pad Controller Review

Pretty sure we need an update. Can't get melodics to recognize my iPhone 7+ on my 2016 MacBook Pro. It will show up for a split second and then duck out. I have tried numerous cables and am running the most recent version of Mac OS, iOS, and melodics
