Useless for snow removal – Eden – On-Demand Lawn Care & Snow Removal Review

I downloaded this app prior to going away on vacation knowing that there was a snow storm arriving while I was away. After the storm I used the app the schedule a contractor to clear the snow from my driveway, sidewalk, front walk, and front steps. The app took a while to perform the looking up contractors function, so I let it do its thing while I went about the business of vacationing. A few hours later I received a text that Eden was cancelling the job due to no contractors being available. The text also explained that there was quite a bit of ice build up which would make plowing difficult. I started a new job with the comment that shoveling was OK to clear if plowing was not feasible. This job received no takers. I cancelled this job after finding someone through other means. I counted on this app to provide me with the service promised and was instead left in a bind. Which I certainly did not appreciate and threatened to ruin at least part of my vacation. So, at least for snow removal, this app has proven to be useless. It does not do what it promises to do. Don't count on it.
