Far from Being Okay, but Better than Daum – NAVER Map, Navigation Review

Naver maps are definitely better and easier to use than crappy Daum Kakao thingy. But, they also have so many things to improve. Maps are not easy to read, and traffic displays are horrible. ETA is almost always wrong; multiplying 1.5x to what it tells me is about right travel time. Finger zooming and panning are ridiculous; maps zoom in/out at wherever they want to, so I have to relocate the maps after zooming. I don't know why gps navigations and maps have to be separate. Using gps requires explicitly switching to the gps option and vice versa. After using the gps, I must leave the option explicitly, or otherwise it keeps using the gps sensor and displaying the blue bar at the top of the screen even though it's done with directions. Hope Naver learns how to make map interfaces from Google.
