Still having problems?!? – WUNC Review

I enjoy public radio and am a sustainer. I listen every morning and often during day and in the evening. Today, I could not get the app to cut off. To do so I had to delete the app. Previously, I have had the app start playing without any reason. On one occasion, it was embarrassing! I've had problems for years and even talked to the developer in Raleigh one time. I don't know if the developer is engaged now or not. After several years and I think lots of other complaints, why does this continue to be a problem? Is this a donated service? Listeners are certainly appreciative if the app developer is donating the service, but is it not possible to get this problem fixed? The app works relatively well otherwise, but it should not be necessary to delete an app to turn it off!
