Annoyingly unreliable

I ONLY listen to NPR/WUNC while I’m driving, and I have to say that I can’t rely on the app for streaming content. I find myself repeatedly unplugging and replugging in my Bluetooth device. It shouldn’t be this complicated!! Please fix this annoying problem!
What’s happened???

This App use to work well in WiFi and okay with cell service. Now it buffers for up to 5 mins (when I turn it off) in WiFi and can’t get out a sentence without buffering using cell. This started this summer and makes it useless. I’m a sustainer/leadership circle for this station and it’s driving me to Podcast alternatives. I’ve deleted it once and anticipate doing it again.

This is the only thing I listen to to get news. I pop my headphones in in the morning before I get out bed to listen to the news( Hubble sleep an hour longer than I do) But now it cuts out/ buffers ever few minute. It’s usually right before the key sentence or clip in a story. I hate it. Please fix the problem. It wasn’t until about a month ago.

The connection is constantly buffering. Very annoying, even on a 5G Home Wi-Fi connection. Even a month later, still not working, constantly buffering.

I hate to say this because I am a sustainer and love WUNC. But this app is the worst! It buffers - even when I’m stationary at home - and skips back in time like a broken record *constantly*. I’ve never experienced either of these with any other app including other radio stations. Please fix these problems!

Really frustrating how many times I have to close this app and restart it. It really just doesn’t work if you move or open any other apps, which other people have said as well.

App has been frustrating for the entirety of the time I’ve had it downloaded. Constantly drops the WiFi signal. I thought it was my internet feed, or my iphoneSE, but nope...constant streaming if I go to the WUNC website and listen live...no excuse for a crappy app guys, sorry, use some of your listener support funds to invest in a strong, consistent app, please!
Wow..haven’t seen this kind of “buffering” since I had a dial up modem. Terrible!

Works fine on Wi-Fi or cellular, but not both. If you’re on Wi-Fi and go for a walk beyond Wi-Fi range, it’ll just spin and spin saying it’s buffering when you know it’s not. Eventually it tries to blame the problem on the stream, which is completely false. The only remedy is to manually close the app and restart. And sometimes that’s not good enough - there have been times when I’ve had to physically shut down the phone and then restart it because it would just get stuck on the grey screen and simply time out. I have another app I use for another stream and it doesn’t have these problems. Oh, and if you’re listening wirelessly and take out one earbud to talk to someone for a couple minutes, it can’t restart then either. Surely WUNC could do better, but the button for support just takes me to their home page, where “support” means giving them more money.
