Crazy Twist – Phantasmat: Town of Lost Hope - Hidden Objects Review

This game immediately drew me in with adrenaline and suspense. Even though I am not a big fan of horror, it did not scare me as much as made me immensely curious. As another reviewer stated, this game is shorter than others out right now, but I'm still happy I bought it. It has some nice, challenging puzzles, and there is a lot of variety in the HOPs. I loved the twist at the end of the main story! The bonus chapter also fit well as a parallel of the main story. Sometimes dialogue goes by too quickly, like right after talking to the girl you rescued. Also, in this, as in many HOP games, I missed dialogue from picking up a non-inventory item, or from scene text. I wish I could get these to somehow repeat, that the text would be on a different color background than black so I'd notice, and/or that there would be an "ok" or "continue" button on these. In a few of the HOPs, it seemed there were several items that could be considered a word, but only one of them worked. Maybe it was just too dark. One example was a HOP with the words "bag" and "cup". Puzzles were not necessarily very clear on what you were supposed to do, like the circuit one. I messed with the knobs a bit and all the sudden it's working and I'm not even sure what I did. Same thing with the bottles. Even with some issues, I enjoyed this game!
