Had to upgrade – Directed SmartStart Review

I was a little upset that I had to upgrade but glad I did. The old System worked 75% of the time when was on a 2g system (ran off the t-Mobil system). I just upgraded to the 4g unit (runs off Verizon) which set me back $100. (It would have been more if you didn't have it installed already with the old system) To install the new unit cost me $28 (not bad) and I had to call customer support who updated my account with the new unit. They gave me a discount AND forwarded my remaining balance of my old plan, in the form of a promo code so all I had to to was enter that when I picked the service plan I wanted. It went smoother than expected and I am extremely happy to be running off of Verizon so I'll get better coverage between my phone and car.
