Wow, simplified custom panel – Air Manager Review

Our flight club's simulator needed an upgrade (assembled 7 years ago) but I was dreading the job because the instrument panel was a custom layout on two touch screens (resistive type) which took me weeks to figure out and get working correctly. But then I happened upon Air Manager and my enthusiasm changed. Installation was a bit challenging at first because I was unsure of what I was doing. But after an email to the company things became clear. Support response was a few hours which is quite good. I purchased their desktop version as well as the iPad version so to better know my options for the sim upgrade. The cool thing is that both versions can both use the same plugin and can both be run at the same time. Suddenly the options for a very functional panel were many, and easy to implement. On the old sim I had fabricated an overlay with physical digital knobs just so we could adequately control the instruments. It worked but was clunky an made layout modifications impossible. In contrast, the touch implementation on both the iPad and desktop version work so well that physical knobs are not needed. I look forward to see how this product continues to improve in the future.
