Any way to make the navigation buttons also work with time skip – Quick Remote widgets for Kodi Review

Most of the navigational controls that I use for Kodi that looks similar to this one are also capable of forwards and backwards time skipping in a movie... not sure why this one isnt. Also Tapping the enter button doesn't bring up the OSD like it does other remotes too. Can you make this happen? As a sidenote... a gesture remote for applewatch and notifications would be even better...
