Not Compatible With iOS 10? – Smart Finder - Bluetooth Smart Object Locator Review

I ordered this from Amazon and was very excited to use it however, it won't seem to pair with my device as other trackers have done quickly & easily... does this device not work with iOS 10? If so I think that should be clearly stated on both the description in the App Store as well as on Amazon...
